It’s hardly a hot take, but 2001: A Space Odyssey is a bloody good film. As a loud and proud sci-fi geek, it was a lot of fun to celebrate the movie’s legacy on its 50th anniversary.
We chatted to a host of creatives, from Jonathan Barnbrook to David Rudnick, to hear how the film has impacted their own practice, half a century after 2001: A Space Odyssey first wowed global audiences, before commissioning the wonderful La Boca to bring the story to life in a suitably woozy, galactic illustration.
